Rifle Scopes Scope search advice request, low light hunting

    I have a 6.5 cm bolt action I am looking for a scope to use with it. Here are my parameters:

    -Hunting out to 400 yrds (whitetail)
    -less than 30oz
    -must have excellent low light capabilities
    -30mm or 34mm tube (already have good rings)
    -any reticle
    -good range of eye relief
    -less than $1500
    -new or used fine
    -SFP preferred
    -ideally exposed elevation
    -must be mrad
    -15x max magnification is fine

    • Schmidt 3-12x50 or 4-16x50 Klassik
    With the criteria you want, these are a few off the top of my head.
    since they are SFP, my only experience with them is through internet reviews :)
     
    Trijicon Credo 2.5-15x42 or 4-16x50, I have used both in low light (late afternoon/sunset on a snowy, cloudy day) and very happy with low-light performance. I have old, weak eyes that struggle in low contrast/low light. These two Credo models are excellent IMO.
