I can understand the frustration of new members asking questions that have already been discussed. BUT what I'm noticing is just because someone is asking how an IOR stacks up to a NF scope, the replies "dead horse" and some will even link a thread that has the same title. Just curious how this helps when they were asking about completely different models. Just because the thread is titled the same, doesn't mean they were asking the same question...does that make sense? ALSO, I know everyone needs to do some research and most of the time can find the answers they are looking for. However, sometimes those answers are a year or two old. Would that still be relevant? Heck, a lot of times I'll do a google search and start reading reviews of something only to see the thread was started over two years ago! What if there's a newer model or changes have been made to make it better or it was made worse.
I don't expect this to really change anything. I guess more than anything I would hope that if someone was going to post a link to a thread, it would actually answer the question the OP was asking in the first place. To reply with a thread that was comparing two completely different models just because they were from the same manufacturer has me more than puzzled as to what they are trying to prove....that's about as nice as I can put it.
