Scope wraps

I’m going to post this here because I’m not sure where else to ask. I see a lot of shooters that have the front bell of their scopes wrapped with that self sticking wrap stuff. (In the medical field it’s called coban) What’s the purpose of this??

While true, it is tactical as fuck. It also keeps the scope from getting dinged up or scratched to help with resale value.

At my last match I wish I had it. Metal gate with narrow gaps between each level and we had to shoot from 5 different locations in 90 seconds. Lost too much time trying to keep my front scope bell from banging on the bars.

If you have them both on your optic at the same time, you gain a 10x street cred multiplier.
