Wondering if anyone has come up with new upgrades. Especially the bolt handle and padding the cheek rest.

I can't help with the bolt handle but some $1 adhesive craft foam has worked wonders on the cheek pieces I've put them on. I get it in black and brown so it goes with most of my guns.

Yeah, you can get them by the sheet at Hobby Lobby and Michaels but I think you have to get a multipack if you get them at Walmart.

Does anyone know a bolt knob with a 5/16-24 male end. Kind of upsets me that going reversed on the threading takes out pretty well all of the most used aftermarket knobs.

Area 419 extension and knob. I just bought one so hopefully it fits.

MPA sells them also. 5/16-24. Had to do this with my Curtis Axiom since it is a male thread bolt knob. Area 419 is a little longer than the MPA, but I use both and they are great.

Baron85- keep us updated. Paramount Tactical said he tried the Area 419 and said the thread pitch wasn’t right. Seekins emailed me about it and said it was 5/16-24 not reversed. Not for sure what that means. Maybe a machinist can fill us in. Did send an email to Curtis Machine. They use male threads for their bolt knobs in their actions. Will let you know what they say

Looks good! What do you use for adhesive? Something like a super77 spray adhesive?

I ordered the universal fit Caparison Cheek Piece Pad from Anarchy Outdoor. Expensive but read some good reviews on durability. Guess will see how it goes.

It provides a little padding for comfort but also makes it less slippery when it's hot and humid.

Area 419 bolt knob and extension showed up today. Fits nicely and I like the dumbbell knob, I had some issues with my hand sliding off the original bolt knob, with the area 419 there is no issues with that. I really like it!

Which adapter is that. Is it this one, Steel 5/16×24 Bolt Knob Adapters. If so, which action, defience or bighorn. Need this bad.

lt looks like defiance since the defiance knob is 5/16x24. Correct?

I bought it used off here and the gentleman said it was for a defiance action.

How hard was getting the stock knob off

Not hard at all. It was loctite on but the factory has an Allen head socket in the end. I just put and Allen key in and it cam right off

I emailed pictures of the cheekrest and the dimensions to Wiebad and they said they'd make me a mini stock pad for the Havak Hit so if you want one of those cheek pads, shoot them an email.
