Seekins PH3 proprietary rail?

Just got the new PH3 and I’m pumped—but I’ve always been a die-hard Spuhr fan. Because of how the rail is CNC’d, I can’t get one of the base screws to seat properly. Should I carefully file it down to make room for the second screw, or just run it with one? Would love to hear from the gear nerds on this one.

since it’s at the end of rail, think about what removing that section and putting clamping force there would do.

I’d either get different rings or leave it with one cross bolt and torque it a bit more.

Yeah the split pic rail was a poor decision IMO.......they added a 1/2lb to the rifle to get the adjustable cheek piece, for the love of god keep the full length pic rail. It's not like the PH3 at ~7.5lbs is setting any ultralight weight records. A beefy full steel pic rail is only about 4oz, so maybe they bought themselves 2oz and lost a huge amount of optic placement range.

That out of the way I'd use a good single bolt ring like Arc, NF, Badger, Seekins, etc.
