Both of these will fit the best handguard on the market (sgt of arms )

Any reason to use one versus the other for a precision6 arc. I have a aero sitting here.

Fwiw my last 556 build with a aero and used Douglas shoots phenomenally

Man, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that there are probably more QC checks done with the Seekins stuff.

That being said; I've put together 5-6 builds on Aero receiver sets that are run pretty hard out here chasing hogs etc... I don't beat them off of trees intentionally, but they get plenty of use banging around in the SxS, bouncing off of me and other things in the dark. I don't run the rifles as hard as some guys do, but I do run them harder than a lot of guys do.

Never had a parts fitment issue either. Would I use them again? - Well, I just bought an M5 enhanced set with handguard for $350 (it's an ugly color that nobody wanted), so I guess that means that I am confident enough to stick with them.

I have a few of the aero enhanced uppers. They work as they should. I’ll have a Seekins small frame to compare it to if the handguards ever restock. It isn’t as nice aesthetically as my Mega MML but doesn’t cost as much either. I haven’t seen any noticeable poi shift coming from a bipod to a bag.

So that aero clears an OCM/aem5 can internally?

That’s a sgt of arms with arca but yes. I think the round aero fits even more I’ve got one laying around here somewhere
I had a 1.75 OD suppressor inside the aero quantum set. I’m pretty sure they are fairly close dimensionally.

I have built several rifles using the Aero Enhanced uppers. I've had to thermal fit all of the barrels.
I’ve only had to heat one. The rest, while really tight, could be seated without heating the upper. Any tighter and I’d have had to use a heat gun.

As cheap as the Aero Enhanced upper/handguard combos can be bought and as well as they mitigate poi shift, they are what I recommend to friends and family that don’t want to spend the money on a Mega, Seekins, or Cobalt build. IMO the semi-monolithic uppers benefits outweigh the limited handguard options.
