M14 Direct Connect (DC) Vortex Flash Hider
Material is 8620 carburized and hardened, Mag Phosphate finish. I.D. threads .595-32 with external 10 pitch radius bottom helical groove which gives carbon a place to go for easy removal of sound suppressor. It is suggested that anti-seize be applied to threads prior to install. The Vortex Flash hider will self-tighten under fire, therefore it does not have a torque specification.
This device has been combat proven in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
