Gents, I see a lot of this brand popping up for sale recently. Not too concerned about the ammo itself, but was wondering if anyone knows the quality if s&b brass in 338. I'm hoping it is at lest as good as hornady brass, prvi brass just straight sucks.

Not familiar with their rifle brass but in pistol it has the smallest primer pockets going and may be difficult to prime depending what you use. Most of the pistol reloaders comments I read on forums put S&B one step above AMERC and shite can it rather than reload it.

I load on a S1050 and I think the swage station helps me out by actually creating a lead in for te new primer. The primers are not crimped just that the pocket is dead square with little lead in for the new primer. I have had surprisingly few issues reloading their .38 spcl brass.

Other tha the pocket I have not heard how much life you get with the brass. My W231 2.9 grain .38 Spcls re not in the same league as your Lapua.
