Hey guys, i happened to be in my local sports authority today waiting to pick up some dinner next door and happened to find myself at the ammo counter. I figured let me see what kinda prices they were looking at for 7mm and they had a few boxes of S&B 175gr soft points. Being i'm using my 7mm R700 for deer i figured i'd try them out. Unfortunately i won't be able to shoot until next week.

Any ideas on how this brand of ammo performs? They seem really nice, but i've never shot them before. I figured for $23 why not try them? Any input?

I can't imagine that a well-placed hit from a 7mm 175gr soft-point bullet traveling somewhere north of 2000fps would result in anything other than a dead deer.
