this may be a weird question and in the wrong place but I wasn't sure where else to put it. Has anyone ever sold reloaded ammo? The reason I'm asking is because I have some ammo that is reloaded but I'm probably never going to use it. PLEASE NOTE IM NOT TRYING TO SELL IT HERE. 2nd question is if it's ok to sell it where would be a good place to try to sell it? 3rd question is how can I figure out what it is worth? I asked a couple of the guys I ran into at a gun show that sell ammo what it would be worth. The first guy told me he wouldn't give me $5.00 for all of it because he has never heard of it. The 2nd guy said he had never heard of it so he couldn't tell me what it would be worth. Seemed pretty odd to me since I'm not an ammo guy but I've heard of it but I have no use for it.

Sorry. They are reloads I got from someone. Not a factory reload. They are 375 JDJ loaded from 444 marlin cases. I got them because I was supposed to be getting a TC with the 375 jdj barrel but that never happened. Now I have the ammo but the only thing I can do is look at it.
I wouldn't sell a reload I bought from someone else. You have no idea if the person who reloaded them knew what they were doing. What if the person who buys them shoots one and blows up his gun or worse, gets injured by a hot load? I wouldn't want that potential liability.
Other than the fact they are second hand reloads which I wouldn't sell either, you haven't provided enough info to make a judgement on value. What brass mfg, what bullet and how many are you talking about?
It's actually against the law to sell loaded ammo without a class 6 ffl.
^ That's not true. It's against federal law to manufacture and sell ammo without a manufacturing FFL (an 06 is one, but not the only one).
I'd sell as components disclosing what they are and where they came from, but wouldn't bother pulling the bullets. If someone knows what they are and decides to shoot as-is, that's on them.

Sorry, I disagree, even if he paid for the reloads, reselling them as such not wise, now he is the seller, what goes on low key is fine, but he better trust the buyer.
I would disassemble the rounds and sell or give away the components. I wouldn't sell, or even give away, the reloaded ammo. Why expose yourself to that kind of liability for a couple hundred dollars of ammo? IMO
As stated.. Not worth the liability. Even if you think you could get some money out of them, if someone got hurt or had damage done and they sued you, I think at that point would wish you never had sold it.
Just not worth the potential liability in my opinion.

This has fail written all over it. You have no idea what you have. Nobody does. For all the right reasons if you want something outta that stuff pull it down. Otherwise dispose of it properly. Is it the correct powder, charge the same, bullets the same, COAL within SAAMI spec, yada yada. This is against all common sense. Pull it or dispose of it, period. No laughing matter here. Please take this advice for you to stay safe and everybody else.
I do have a friend that, with the help of his gunsmith friend, builds rifles and works up a load for them for his customers. That's one thing because he's working these loads up for the gun they will go in. Selling second hand reloads though...sounds scary.
Hey sorry again guys. I know what the loads are and the guy who loaded them. I have all the information on the loads recorded on each box. The guy that loaded them actually taught me a lot of what I know about reloading. I wasn't giving to many specifics because I didn't want it to appear that I was trying to sell them here.
