Selling & Shipping Bolt Gun To CA

I hear all sorts of BS about how hard it is to sell and ship any gun to CA. What is the honest truth? I have a guy from CA that wants a bolt gun I have and I don't want to go thru a shit load of hassle trying to get it there. Can a dealer here ship is to a dealer there without having to be licensed to ship to CA?
I have heard that to be true.

Dealer MUST be reged and reg the shipment with CA DOJ. A individual CAN ship to CA dealer thow. I have had a few members do that a few months ago. Have ur buyer FIND a FFL that WILL accept from a individual.

In not so many words yes your FFL would have to register with the CFLC program, get a shipment approval, send a copy to the receiving FFL, keep a copy, and then ship the rifle.

Thanks for the comment. I know my FFL holder will not work thru this and I am sorry that all gun owners in CA must deal with it.
