It's been years since I've shot my rifles. I can't remember how to use the NP-R2 reticle (SFP). I know that the vertical delineations are 2 MOA and only valid at 22x. I think I remember that if I reduce magnification to 11x, those values double to 4 MOA. Are they 8 MOA at 5.5x ?

Thank you very much for your time!

That's directionally how it works.

If you're going to hold significant elevation that way, it's probably worth double checking. Just measure an object using the reticle at 22x (let's say it ends up measuring 10 MOA), then power down to 11x and measure it. If the reticle says 5 MOA, you're good to go. If it's slightly off, you could fine tune till it does and give yourself a witness mark at the "true" half value magnification. Same at 5.5x, though there is only one way to go if it were off.
