Okay, the Valkyrie arrived today, and I had a chance to mount up my Nightforce F1 on it, and get it zeroed in preparation of sending a bunch of rounds downrange.

Rifles is shit hot, the action is definitely sweet and it digs the Cor Bon stuff. Here are some pictures:

<span style="font-weight: bold">O...M...G... </span> that thing is ridiculous! I have slacked on getting my stuff sent out, the damn stock has been sitting waiting on me for months. been waiting primarily on the brake from ops inc for the 3rd model can.

now i need to get moving so i can have some similar porn to look at here at home.

absolutely beautiful...possibly my favorite rifle i have seen posted on here besides shaun b's m40a3 return stock rifle.

the badger action looks great in the t4a...can't wait to get mine!

Looks sweet. I'm really sad that I missed out on that extra barrel that GAP was selling. (Need to get my M2008 built!)

What they heck is in that NF branded pouch hanging from the bikini covers?

just picking on you talking about all your fans

lowlight fron the dictionary read No2

    1. a young person, esp. a teenage girl, who is an ardent admirer of rock musicians and may follow them on tour.
    2. an ardent fan of a celebrity or of a particular activity: a tennis groupie.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

It's an Atlas rail mounted bi-pod... Available with a screwdown or QD mount......

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: rebelceb</div><div class="ubbcode-body">btw...what bipod is that on there? how was the rail mounted for the bipid? flush cup or sling swivel stud? </div></div>

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

Bill is correct, the bipod is from Kasey who makes the Accu-Shot Monopod, this is the Atlas and it was made available so every Valkyrie came with one. The Pic rail was mounted into the stock, it doesn't have a stud there or anything like that and the Atlas is either a QD Arms mount or screwed on, which the Valkyrie builds are all screw on models, not the ARMS mount.

Been working with the Atlas for a while now and I really like them.

ps. for the video I think I am gonna shoot the mover.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

would this bipod be available other than on the valkyrie build?

hmmm...i wonder if i could call manners and have them rerofit my stock with the rail?!? the stock is already built, but is waiting for the rifle to be built to have the final finish put on it.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

Todd has 2 for finish, as soon as they are back he will get 2 more and So-on till they are all done. We will be done with them by next week except for Final Assembly. Looks like they will be finished on scedule and all ship by the 3rd week in March.

No problem just let us know.
    Thank you,

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

Perfect specs for my tastes and great work from Badger, GAP and Manners, congrats all around!

Thanks Frank, I appreciate it and honored to be included.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

im going with a Premier 3-15. just wondering what height would work best. I really like the looks of those NF rings though. I'll probably end up getting Seekins rigns. All my badgers start pitting and i have to end up duracoating them.

Damn, here I go putting the smaller target on the mover this afternoon, now you put this side bet up, so you're gonna force me to practice first and not just wing it. LOL

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

I'm looking at a Badger SA as a host action for a short 6.5 tactical rifle in something like a T2A (pleeeease, Tom). I bet even with a short barrel it would still kick .308 butt.
    cool.gif

I think that the 60-degree bolt throw could earn its keep. Five bucks says you can't zero the rifle at 100, confirm your 400 yard dope, do one practice run to get your lead, then shoot the mover five times right to left without a miss, followed by four times left to right without a miss. Interested?
    grin.gif

PS - I had no idea that my torti-point siamese cat was born into urban flectarn camo. I might have to call Todd and have him replicate that paint job just to have a rifle that matches my cat.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

That is only 9 shots, I think I can do 10 shots.... 1 practice run cause the wind is kicking again, so I might need to get that right.

If I make that run clean, I will go for 7 and 7 each way without a miss.

on the smaller plate not the Larue, the 8X14

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

    Sweet looking stick!

Are the barrels easy to swap on the Badger action compared to the AI action, which it looks to be modelled after?

I've been thinking of getting an AI AE MKII, but this might be a better option, as it is American made and looks like it retains all the advantages that the AI system does.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

RG, I have the video, bullet didn't fire on the last shot, but I have, I think 11 hits between the two passes, I'll have it count it up when I get it on the screen where I can see and hear it better, but I think I have 11 hits with one round not firing.

    Re: SH Valkyrie - pictures

Okay, here is the first video of me shooting the Valkyrie. I didn't do the mover at 400, I had to shoot it at 300 because of the remote control and the fact I was by myself. The extended antenna was in Jacob's truck, so, 300 it was. Small target, 8.75" X 14.75" going about 2MPH...
