Shipping antique and collectable Colt SAA.

I searched this but didnt find anything.

A friend has a 1908 Colt SAA revolver that hes thinking of selling to pay some medical bills. We were wondering if the same shipping applies as with current pistols. Does it have to be shipped to an FFL or can he just ship it direct to the purchaser....assuming he can sell it. Any help appreciated.

Three options I see --

1. FTF transfer in state (assuming FTF are allowed in the state)
2. Cross state lines, go to nonlicensee through FFL
3. Cross state lines, go to C&R holder

Thansk. seems like the laws are about the same as with current issue arms.

Yes same criteria as contemporary firearms but with the C&R eligibility due to the age of the firearm.
