Saturday get a tax bill for special assesment because the city pulled out all the landscaping to put frigging rocks in to save water. Ended up selling a bunch of stuff to cover the costs.

Turn on radio to find out about Vegas, turns out wife has a bunch of friends that were there and a few who were shot as well as several who are missing either in hospitals or well it could be worse.

On plane now traveling for work, got inline to follow Vegas story only to see Tom Petty died 45 min ago.

Which also disgusts me. In a dark fucking place of late, and it hasn't even been pouring for weeks in a row. I honestly hope something wonderful comes all our way soonest. The people that don't give a shit about anything or the significance of what's happening around them in it's totality are ignorantly blessed during these last few days. I'm still glad we're not them........

I know it sounds trivial by comparison but an hour ago my best friend txts me his dog died. Now mind you we use to dog watch each others pets when we were neighbors in WA. Feel like he was just as much a part of our family as his. So add that to the list. Hes a member here so I wont say much but I know my brother is hurting now.

Yeah Im often envious of those who perpetualy have their heads in their asses must be nice.

Vegas is hitting closer and closer to home as more people are making contact had no idea so many people we knew were there, not a big country fan.

We all go thru dark patches. I've been in one for a while. Most of mine has been job and relationship related. We all need support from those we care about or relate to. Hang in there because today I may be lifting you up and tomorrow you may be lifting me up.

Even on here, there is a great group for support. We may not see eye to eye on issues but we can still offer our support when someone is struggling.

For me, that's one of the reasons I like shooting. Clears the mind of the bullshit and just focus on my guns and my piece of paper I'm hoping to punch a small group in.
