I was going to search for an answer to this question, as i'm sure it's been discussed on here, but wasn't even sure how to list it in the subject line. And it's probably considered a stupid question but here goes. I live in the sandhills on about 30 acres. A lot of the pictures i see here of guys shooting it's always nice and flat. No such thing where i am. Getting a 100 yds of flat mostly isn't going to happen. So my question is, how much does practicing where i am, where my target may b a 5' @ 100yds drop from where i'm shooting , to maybe a 8-10' difference in 200 yds, which it is on my range set up, how does this effect my accuracy when i go to a range that is flat? Thanks

That small difference in angles wont make any difference at those distances. Out past 500 yards it may require a small adjustment in your dope but only a 10th or 2 from you previous data

Better if you can practice out farther on uneven terrain. The wind should be wonky as it moves over varied terrain. Unless you have no wind to speak of.
we get plenty of wind, most of the time i'm working with a N-NW wind, and i'm shooting SW, so i can get a pretty good crosswind. If i stretch it out, i shot NW into my neighbors pasture where i can shoot up to a mile if i want to (not that i would) and wouldn't have to worry about anything in the line of site. Just a lot more work to get set up and take down. A lot of the time i'm working with a limited time to shot. But thanks for the insight guys, i appreciate it
