Shooting through glass

Re: Shooting through glass

Spend a lot of time practicing shooting targets that use cars for "cover" with a 357 Sig pistol. There is nothing in most cars that can stop the round from hitting it's mark....including in many situations the block. And the shrapnel thrown from door panels and glass get just as much penetration....

Re: Shooting through glass

At NFA car shoots we are inside shooting 180* out, at moving targets. The response of first time shooters is priceless, most of the time
"Glass is a blast" has meaning when inside shooting out.

Can't be good but I suspect the hot lead in the face is worse.

You would be amazed at how effective a large caliber pistol is against vehicle glass and bodywork.</div></div>

Bodywork might as well be tissue paper against most anything 9mm or greater. Especially the light composites in use these days.

That's funny, trick to it.
Shooters are slotted best first an, worst/FNG's last, to level the field an give them a better learning curve on what works an what won't. No two shoots are the same, an past winners quickly get shuffled from the very front of the pack.
