Hi guys,
I have a rem700/AICS/26" barrel in 6br for long range, i have good result but i can't really shoot in a another position but prone with a bag to rest because the weight of the beast, 16lbs! I mean, i can but i am not sure about the result. The thing is that i love to shoot sitting or standing, so i decided to build another rifle, lighter!! That will be 6br because i like it and i don't want to buy other tool, maybe a B.C. stock and a 18.5" length barrel surppressed.
I will shoot light bullets (approx 80gr)with it from 100yds to 300yds, no more. And only on paper target, i am not a hunter.
Do you think that is a stupid idea, wich speed can expect?
And wich powder to use?
Merci.
Regards.
