Suppressors Shot my suppressor for the first time today!

My dealer was going to a shoot just north of me and said he'll bring my suppressor along if I was to play with it for a couple hours while he was there. Well I said hellz yes and drove on up. It's a SWR Omega 30, and I only have about another month or two until the paperwork arrives. I have to say, the 4 groups I shot were VERY telling of how it improves the accuracy. 2 of the 4 groups were 1/4", 1 was 1/2, and the other was about 5/8". Can't post pics of the groups as it violates the group policy since they're only 3 shots each.

That was very nice of your dealer to let you shoot the suppressor. Glad you like it but it does become an obsession.

After shooting my suppressor yesterday i've decided they are a lot like mogwai exposed to water. I'm already thinking of one for the rimfire, need a 9mm or 40 can for a pistol and a 338 spectre build i'm thinking about, ect.. My wife is going to hate me, but i'm paying off the last $1300 of her credit card ( 4 years and $11K later) this week, so I don't think she can say shit to me about it. That'll make us debt free (except for the house). I've been working my butt off to make this happen, so I think that I deserve a little slack.

I've been wanting to buy/build some rifles for years now and haven't financially been able to, but now i'm in a better position to. Wanting to save a little more for our emergency fund (6 months expenses) and then it's game on.

If you can find some quiet private land it will be even more fun to shoot with a supressor.

No kidding. I'm already thinking about a rimfire can, and a pistol can. Problem with the pistol can is that I don't own a pistol right now.

I have been ratholing as much money as possible, just for a can for my .223, I have about 3/4 of the amount saved. Does anyone use YHM cans?

YHM is good to go on 223 cans. I've had mine for about a year and half and has worked great. Use it on my bolt gun and AR. (QD)
