Shouldered prefit sources for BAT Hammerhead

I have a BAT Hammerhead on pre-order and am sourcing parts for the build while I wait on it to come in. Since I don't have the action to send into my usual place and they haven't done prefits for a BAT action before, I'm looking for recommendations on smiths that are already setup. Contact Eric Anderson @ Blue Mountain Precision. Dude does awesome work! Built the first prefit for one of my Solus actions, and it shoots amazing. Fit & Finish are excellent, as well.

For sure, Eric cut a bunch of my barrels but they unfortunately don't have any BAT actions on file.

I run a long action bat igniter. Mike manzella does prefits for bat. FisherT&C I believe he does now. Alex wheeler and black canyon customs. When I talked to bugholes they didn't want to do any prefits for the bat.

Ah great thanks, the Hammerhead runs the same tenon as the Igniter (or well, the SA at least) so that ought to work, cheers!

We do BAT barrels, but we’ve seen several (50% +/-) actions that are smaller than our 1 1/16”x18TPI GO tooling. So this forces us to cut tenons to “go plus a little” which I’m not super excited about. I don’t know if my go plug is too big, or theirs is too small, but it’s close enough to create interference (and I know it’s very close). So we always have a disclaimer when making BAT barrels. The headspace and all other measurements on their print are VERY consistent
