I’m building a 300 prc on a desert camo McMillan A5 and I’m not sure with what color I should Cerakote it. I’m needing inspiration here’s your chance to show off your cool desert color scheme rifles, anything in desert camo, tan, fde, sand, etc…

Post pics and tell us how you like dura cote. I’ve been wondering if it’s worth trying on barrels, actions and other metal parts or does it come off easily.

Krylon FDE and specs of Case IH red, the red is fairly subtle though and not noticeable until right up close

In 1938 this was a 7.92x57mm
In 2021 this is a 260 Rem throated to 3.1" OAL
The Lilja barrel is painted desert tan.

That or coyote brown, I asked Kampfeld to match that darker tan color on the stock. I dont remember exactly what cerakote color it was
