Had my Smith install the Badger EFR. Optic is Night Optics M845. SWR Spectre suppressor.
Great setup for 'coons in my backyard @ 50-75 yards at night.

I had sent Manners a message where I could order one for the Dutch market, but unfortunately not an answer yet. I'll have to send them another email.
Hope to order one the end of the month.

Anyone with Midnight or GAP camo pattern?

There was a midnight one in the for sale topic, would love to see pictures of that one. Unfortunately the topic is gone.

Harris 6-9 with KMW pod lock

Bolt cocking geometry modified by jbell (MUCH smoother cycling now)
Action and bottom metal bedded by Jbell

Action and BM coated in Coyote Tan
Manners T4 painted "desert multicam"

And on really good days when it all comes together, it shoots like this 5 shot group at 50;

Its a well worn all factory 452, in a Manners T4 painted by our very own Short-Bus in a true German Flectarn camo. Its topped with a USO ST-10 sitting in Seekins Precision rings on a DIP 20MOA base.

I like it, a lot. The glass is good, tons of adjustment, and the reticle matches the one in the USO on my .308. I have a ST-10 on my 40x as well and have shot it out to 400yds with no problems.

Yes it's od and it's the only one because Tom told me he would not make any others for the .17hmr 452. I guess making them for the magnums is a pain. The 455 is a different story though.

Will the Manners stock work for a 455 in 17hmr? I have a 453 and Manner will not inlet for it. Im thinking of getting a 455 but I want to make sure the 17hmr works with that stock. Will a 455VPT switch 17hmr with a barrel swap and mag?

The 455 actions should be the same, regardless of caliber.

I am almost certain it will. There is a block in the mag well that can be removed and I think that's to accommodate the longer cartridge of the 22 wmr and 17hmr magazines. I'll have to check when I get home.

your question was probably more suited for the above thread. also, look at post #21... it shows the bottom metal and the mag well block sticking out below the metal. that might answer your question. if you were still unsure, i would call CZ USA directly and ask before you sell off any of your guns. I dont want to give inaccurate information and you be pissed you sold something off.


maybe we can get a mod to move posts #43-48 in this thread to the thread i linked just now? that would be good info for the CZ455 modification thread.

Like any of our 455s, the Precision Trainer is able to be converted to .17 HMR and .22 WMR. The barrel kit to do the swap will have a magazine with it. In the instance of going from .22 LR to one of the magnums, there is a spacer you remove from the magazine well to enable it to accept the longer mags.

Here is my Lija/CZ 452 on my Hyde Manners stock rebarrelled by John Whidden and some 50 yd targets. I bedded it at put in a Timney trigger. Thinking about a more powerful scope as it seems to be accurate enough to use it. My crappy eyes are curretly looking through a Viper 6-20x. My cheapest scope is on probably my most accurate rifle. I might take the March off the 308 and try it sometime as it has a little higher power and better glass. There must be a bunch more as they sold a lot with the group buy. I like the pictures posted- go beefcake. I just noticed this thread. Thanks to the Hyde for the stock.
