I have SiCo Omega on the way, hopefully in about 45 more days (not holding my breath though). I built my 300BLK after I ordered the suppressor but failed to realize the ASR has a locking ring on it. With the setup I have the suppressor would be recessed in the hand guard about an 1". The way I see it, I can trim my hand guard to access the locking ring, make it look the the Remington RGP handguard(open on top), get a shorter hand guard, or swap the ASR mount out.

I know the cheapest 2 routes, but I am starting to think about going with Dead Air's Key-Mo or the YHM adapter for the Omega, and not have to worryabout the locking ring, has anyone used either of those adapters?

I haven't ruled out Area 419. I just want to have a flash hider on the gun when it is not suppressed, I do not like the Idea of a brake on a 10.5" barrel.

Yes they are. I should have done a little more research into the can before hand. The reason I ordered it is a family members has one, but his is a direct thread. I intended to swap this across a few rifles.

Well damn dead air is proud as fuck of the Key-Mo.

Do you plan on moving it between guns? If not you could take the handguard off, attach can to mount, then re-attach handguard for kind of a semi-permanent setup.

But if you are, I recommend YHM's system. I'm a big fan of it. Taper mount in front of threads to limit carbon build up on threads, then has the spring collar for additional support. Here is the cheapest place I have found for the YHM mounts. Fast, free shipping too. https://hansohnbrothers.com/index.php?route=product/manufacturer/info&manufacturer_id=70

I would probably go with the KeyMo for under the handguard, its pretty nifty.
I know capitol armory will give you a $135 credit back if you dont include the asr module or brake with the can, 200 if you also dont include the direct thread module either, maybe your dealer will do something like that for you.
Substituting the keymo and brake in place of the asr module and brake with the can purchase is a 210 upcharge.

For comparison:
Keymo independently from them is 225 and the breaks are 85.
ASR module is 130 and brakes are 75.

Once you have the module the additional brakes arent that much difference for each one. Its just the jump to another system that gets the price bump.
