Not a gen2, had it for years. Been a good can overall. 45, so it was on a HK45C for a long time and at times a 9mm HK combat competition, even some subsonic 300 blackout. Ran about 100 rounds of 9mm out of a G19 today, mostly blazer brass 115 but some 148 HST to check zero and had this happen. Everything ran, functioned and sounded like it should but I stopped as I saw it get to this point. Took some pics then some pics after I removed it. Looks like it had some sort of epoxy on it, though half ass applied. Any thoughts on what it's suposed to be and thoughts on just JB welding the bitch back in?

Friends don’t let friends buy Silencerco.
I have seven of them ... and they're awesome. Their customer service is absolutely "the best". I once mounted a Chimera-300 on a 300-WM rifle incorrectly, and blew out the insides as I launched it down-range. Obviously my fault ... but they replaced it free of charge and no questions asked, and had it fixed and back in my hands in less than a week. Sorry your experiences haven't been good, but I feely admit that I'm a SilencerCo fan-boy. Here's a pic of my can-case ...
