Sierra shows that you need a 7 twist or faster with this bullet. Who here has had success with a 7.5? In some of the testing I have down the bullet shoots great to about 900 yards and then goes wonkers.. Any input is appreciated
Altitude matters quite a bit in bullet stability. The way you're asking this question you're going to get conflicting responses that could all be true in differing altitudes.
@Shayne Ward I am in Northern Nevada so 4600ish FT plus or minus 100ish FT depending on where I am shooting, I have shot the 110SMK's through an 8T and its definitely a no go, also through a 7.5T and they were nothing that I ever pursed after the first tests. My buddy shot them in a 7T a few years ago and they were pretty impressive accuracy wise and really impressive in the wind.
I have a 7T Ospry barrel with my smith that should be done today and 500 110SMK's that I'll be testing maybe tomorrow(weather dependent)or over Thanksgiving holiday for sure and will try to remember to report back.
