Sierra 69 gr TMK

Lots of info about the 77 gr TMK around but not much insight about the 69 gr version. XBR 8208 probably will be first choice for powder followed by Varget and Reloder 15. Benchmark, CFE, and 322 are also available. Any experiences or recommendations?

I've loaded a few thousand for my Army ROTC cadets to fire through their M4geries in summer off-season practice when they lose access to M855A1. 24.5 of TAC has worked fine, though CFE is probably closer to GI. Any of the powders you listed will work well.

We don't shoot past 400 with either 855A1 or the 69 TMK stand-in. An M4 with ACOG does well through 300 but it's work at 400 if there's any wind.

I run them in my 223 bolt gun due to a 9 factory twist. They absolutely hammer. Have shot them out to 500 with half minute accuracy. I use 8208 exclusively.

That's my go to bullet for my AR. I use 8208 for the temperature insensitivity. Makes for a very accurate loading.

69 TMK and Varget shoots very well out of my CTR 223. Even better - they are actually available.

Have you guys measured bullet jump to rifling at your seating depths? Just curious if there's any overlap in what you all are seeing for best accuracy.

I shoot my 69 TMK's out of autos, so I load to magazine length. No jump measuring.

I believe mine are jumping .020 but can double check

I’ll be shooting them out of my AR but my magazines can accommodate 2.31” OAL.
