Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig 227

I have shot one, and overall, I was not that impressed with it. The grip itself is quite large, so unless you have "catcher's mitts", you may find it uncomfortable. I liked the P220 I used to own alot better.

I've shot one and liked it a lot. To me it looks and feels just like my P226 in .45. I do have large hands and it fit my like a glove.

Love my p227 . Just waiting on a full stainless steel model, when ? But overall ergo's fit me well. Been releiable with everything that been thur it's tube.Ran a couple 100 round of some of the dirtyest korean era surplus thur it ,it ate it all with no problems. If it fits your specs ,by all means buy and enjoy.

A little more digging, I found one for $700. That seems awfully cheap for a Sig. Is there a reason they can be had this cheap. I paid $1200 for my 226.

If you can buy 226 Tacops for that price, let me know. I'll buy another.
Not a Tacops, just a SIG P226. Then sent directly to SIG Custom shop for AEP, SRT, 11 degree target crown and feed ramp polish. Custom Shop was running a special to do this work at a very discounted price.

Ive since sent both my P229 and P239 for the exact same work.
