Sig 556 and SCAR diopter sights

Has anyone had any experience with the iron sights on the SCAR 16s or the aurora diopters for the sig 556? I would like to know if the set elevation adjustments hold true enough to hit steel at 300 if sighted in at 100. Honestly if they do not, what good are they?

i am trying to compare it to the that of an m14's irons. They are dead on from 100 -300 ( probably even further out but I just can see that good at my range)

I have looked and look for any reviews on irons sight accuracy, but it seems everyone wants to through an Eotech or aimpoint on it as fast as possible. I like good old iron sights if they are adjustable for elevation.

the SCAR iron sights are very nice it takes a bit of getting used to but very similar to AR irons. which the AR irons are similar to the m1a's. The reason why it takes getting used to is because there is no left/right "guards" of the front iron post. on the SCAR it is a circle which roughly lines up to be the same size of the rear iron sight aperture. Where as the AR/m14 irons look like \ | / with a circle around it from the rear sight aperture . The scar is a simple ( | ) with another circle from the rear sight aperture, look something like (( | )) Sorry for not having pics of this but don't have access to a SCAR in Korea.

As far as holding true, they will do it I only shout out to 400 though. They are setup to shoot military 55 grain though so if you plan on using the pre-marked levels.

The sights on my brothers SCAR were true at 200 if that helps. We were able to get nice 6"ish rapid fire groups (from what I can remember) at 100 with irons, it was scary accurate. It was a very pleasant gun to shoot.
