First, I understand the disdain towards this rifle beyond the recall that took place. I get it.
I still chose this for a hunting rifle and would like some thoughts or suggestions on the matter. Yes my Cross is post recall.
I currently have no tools nor knowledge to determine the severity of the issue, if any.
When you look at the Sig Cross barrel from the top or bottom, it's quite clear that it doesn't look straight or aligned with the rail system.
Questions
- Should I be concerned if this is the case?
- Is this common in rail systems on bolt action rifles?
- What other questions should I be asking?
I've yet to put a round through the rifle and intend to do typical rifle break procedure. What should I consider or ask moving forward.
I appreciate input, suggestions, and guidance.
