Sig Cross worth selling my Christensen MPR

I’m intrigued by the Cross rifle because of the shorter barrel, light weight, easy barrel swap, etc. So I own a Christensen MPR in 6.5 that shoots great. In order to finance the Cross I will have to sell the MPR. For those who have experience with the cross, and especially those who have experience with both rifles mentioned, do you think this would be a good trade?

I wouldn't put easy barrel swap as the prime feature.

I would say short, and light is the main reason.
So does the short and light do it for you over what the MPR has?

That’s a good question. My MPR is only 10.2 lbs as it sits. And I already know it shoots well. Maybe it’s not worth it.

Keep your MPR. I handled the Cross at the SHOT last year and was unimpressed. I shoot and hunt with a couple Q Fix rifles. The Fix is finished much better than a Cross.

I am not familiar with your rifle, but the specs are similar to the Cross or Fix. If you are shooting well with your gun I’d keep it.

I picked up a 6.5 cross last week very happy with it so far nice and light for hunting and shoots half inch with hornady Percision hunter and even better with hand loads.

Beyond the Sig being a novel bolt design, there isnt much better in the fitment or finish of the Cross over the Christensen. I owned an MPR and have tested the Cross.

Yes it locks up tight.
