Sig Kilo3K LRF - eye box?

Just got this LRF, and it feels to me like the eye box is very small/sensitive….
If I don’t hold it just exactly do, it’s like I get a reflection or like glare.

Just a feeler to see if anyone else feels the same on theirs…. I have a shitty vortex rangefinder that is easier to look through. Is it a product of it being 6X magnification? Picture is clear/crisp when I hold it just just right.

Are you using glasses?

Did you adjust the eyepiece for proper eye relief?

I am using with contacts, I dialed it for focus, and have tried with the eyepiece extended and rolled over. Just feels super sensitive and small area to get a “clean” look through it. I don’t know if my expectations are out of line or something’s amiss…
