    I form 1'd my 9" MCX in 300 BLK last year, and while I like the gun, I wasn't crazy about the short keymod handguard. Then right after I got mine, they dc'd the MCX and went to the Virtus, which is supposed to be a better gun all around. I think it looks and feels better with the m lok handguard. I checked and found 2 companies that make an upgrade for the handguard that are m lok and also fit the suppressor underneath. Lancer, which makes carbon fiber and midwest industries. I like the lancer and the 12" length but it is pretty pricey, and doesn't come with a full rail at 12 o'clock. I ended up opting for the midwest industries 13.5" handguard. The price was right, comes with a 5 slot nylon rail, free shipping, and for another $15 you get a QD sling mount. This is what it looked like before the upgrade:
