Sig MPX/MPX-c

Re: Sig MPX/MPX-c

I had the chance to mess with the models at Shot Show. I think it has great potential for a small pistol caliber carbine. I just wonder how readily available they'll be to the civilian market. Personally, I've never been a fan of the wired stocks, but I hear they have a folding one available. If that's the case, I think it'll be a great gun to shoot and keep hidden (if you go SBR).

Looks pretty cool. I hope they can get it past the ATF. Maybe they'll be required to ship it with a note from mom saying not to own any metal tubing.

Re: Sig MPX/MPX-c

Up untill I saw the "silencer" I was thinking to myself that "muzzle brake" looks alot like suppressor baffles.... then he whipped out the tube and end cap. I wonder if the atf would let this pass, due to the simplicity of the suppressor system.

I'm pretty sure that 1K figure in the video was LEO pricing for the select fire. Civi talk doesn't enter the conversation until after that price.

With no panic and dealer BS like the SCAR's release, I'm pretty confident on $1700-$1800 depending on the model you get, based on SIG MSRP pricing and what they actually go for.
