I purchased this prism scope and have been using it quite a bit on an AR platform rifle. I enjoy it quite a bit, but i'm hoping someone can help out a bit with one issue. No scope caps came with the optic and I am having a hell of a time figuring out what I need to purchase. I at least need an objective lens cover. The objective lens has the interior threaded for maybe a sunshade. Any tips on what to look for? My stopgap solution has been to measure the opening and try and get a camera lens cover with pinch side like maybe this : https://www.amazon.com/CamDesign-34...n+objective+lens+cover&qid=1628169926&sr=8-32

Any other bright ideas would be appreciated.

Hi there Devil...I have a Bravo 5 and really like it, too. I also had the same issue as you about protecting the lenses when not using the rifle. Here's what I did: Cut and used a piece of black PVC pipe to fit the rear lens. The PVC has the same inner diameter as the scope outer diameter...1 1/2". Just cut your piece of pipe and carefully do your cutouts to fit onto the scope itself. Use a file to get straight edges and make a good fit. I also used a heat gun to heat the pipe cutouts to make it fit even tighter. The front lens requires a #7 Blizzard Creek Scope cover and a #8 fits the PVC pipe end. The whole affair works well. I also like the see-through scope covers. I like my scope covers to open downward instead of upward by the way. They are more out of the way when hunting, (6.5 Grendel).

Sorry it took so long for you to get a reply. I am fairly new to the forum. Any questions...just ask.

thanks a ton. I had hoped someone had gone through this already. I tried a different solution, but will probably give yours a try instead. I got a small bikini cover for it but it is far from ideal. Not a perfect fit and have to keep track of it. Not fire and forget. The #7 cover is the piece of info I was needing. thanks again.

Why wouldn't Sig or someone else just come out with covers, almost every scope out has some type of cover, surprised there is nothing from Sig, I guess they figure a "Battle" sight doesn't need one ;) I too enjoy the Sig Bravo very much (does not have the blue cast I am used to seeing in most Sig optics) and massive FOV, in fact, comparing to other scopes at 5x it looks to be getting around 29' - 30' FOV (Sig does not publish actual FOV distance???). Wish they offered a QD release base option - the base is bolted on so maybe one day?

Wonder if I can Jerry rig something like this
