When is ABE/ABX mode the LRF sends the angle to the kestrel. The range that is displayed is LOS. AB Elite needs range in LOS and the angle because the bullet is effected by gravity (elevation) over the distance modified by range but it is effected by wind over line of sight distance.
The LRF should do all of this for you in ABE/ABX mode communicating via bluetooth. The LRF sends LOS range and angle, the kestrel does the math (displays it on the kestrel) and also sends that info back to the LRF and the LRF displays that same info.
