Hunting & Fishing Sighted in my new rifle an filled the freezer.

Well went to the range today and sighted in my new Larue OBR. Pretty cold out but still managed to shoot a couple of boxes of ammo. Rifle shot really well and I decided to take it out back to try to get some meat for the freezer.

The little button buck walked up at 35 yards and I tagged him right behind the shoulder. Exit wound was devastating and he ran 20yards with half his stomach hanging out of it.

The big doe showed up 10 minutes later and only presented a head shot so I took it at about 90 yards. Bullet impacted right below the eye and she was DRT.

2 shots 2 down and I couldn't be happier. Both deer shot with 168grain sierra HPBT.

Good job... Nice to see someone proud of poppin' something that doesn't have a big rack... hell all i see through my scope when I'm huntin' is a big ass steak with 4 legs...

Nice...meat in the freezer everytime!!! Where did you get that monopod bracket for the CTR stock?

Freezer meat is never a bad thing...

A lot easier to load 'em up if they're gutted first.

Larue tactical makes it. It is under ar furniture.
