I put a $120 Sightmark green laser with the push to activate pad on my lightweight (5 pound) carbon fiber AR build (223). First I put it in bayonet lug mount which is rock solid, no joy. Then I spent the bucks for a Elzetta ZORM offset mount to go on the top rail under the scope, again no joy.
You can zero (co witness it) with the 1X scope and a few shots or a rap on the front handguard will move the dot 3-4" at 25 yards, usually up and to the left.
I have tried running the W & E adjustments in and out to put them at center and it's very close. I.E. I am not maxing out the adjustments to get zeroed. It's not the scope or Warne rings as I have shot it out to 200 and it is dead nuts.
Is this brand of laser a POS or do I just have a lemon ? Appreciate your experience & input.
