Rifle Scopes Sightron SIII 8-32 vs 10-50

Hello,

It's time to upgrade my scope on the .338 from 6-24 to a higher magnification and I decided to buy a Sightron SIII. I've read some topics here and liked the "see through" pictures taken but there is one thing bothering me. I can DEFINITELY use the 50 magnification but the two piece tube scares me silly. Does anyone had problems with this scope? I don't even know how the two parts are glued together . Should I be careful handling this scope, or is it sturdy enough after 1000 shots or if I accidentally drop it ? If I find that the two piece are fragile I will get the 8-32 which are one piece tube.

I wouldn't feel good dropping any scope. But I had an SIII and it was perfectly reliable for me, no issues, felt solid.
