Significant accuracy improvement with stock change

Just figured I'd share my experience with the Knoxx Axiom stock. Picked up a Howa Axiom because for some odd reason I liked the stock at first. After a bit I was disliking the look of the stock plus the less than acceptable accuracy was pissing me off.

I got a B&C Medalist tactical stock and put the barreled action in it and was rewarded with much improved accuracy.

The best I could shoot with the Axiom was 1.25 MOA, with the stock change it went to .5 MOA instantly. While I quickly realized the recoil reducing strengths of the Axiom after the first shot with the B&C, I'll take a little extra thump for the huge jump in consistent shot placement.

Anywho, never owned a high dollar stock and this is my first B&C but I don't know that accuracy could get much better than with the B&C. Very happy with the change. The Axiom is for sale if anyone wants. ;-)

The stock and how it fits you can matter quite a bit. Accuracy starts with consistency, which can be highly dependent on the stock.
