cci standard vel. ammo 1070 (?) is dam quiet.
I sent the Sig 45 ACP to Sig in New Hampshire to have trigger switched out (flat to 3 hole) + lightened to 4 lbs,

Sig tech/ smith suggested to Sig Cust. rep who sent me email " tech thinks a black trigger & hammer would look good. " (Stainless original) turnaround job door to door --6 days.
awesome. They switched the hammer stainless to black n/c. Sig= A+

The grips/ hogue are factory & have a well that is part of the grip-never saw that before.
g10 I think.

Looks great! I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar with a Marvel slide. How does it run on bulk ammo reliability-wise?

Re: Silencerco Sparrow + Marvel .22 + Sig 1911extreme

Bet it's fine so long as fps is over 1100 fps... Needs enough fps- to blow back slide, & strip/feed next round. I tried SK subsonic, wolf, CCI std velocity , and CCI AR Tactical - 1200 fps. CCI AR tactical (bulk) was GTG but a fair amount louder. fwiw, this is with a can only.

Sure there are others who can advise how a can adds or removes pressure to cycle slide...

Sub sonic stuff had some failure to feed & failure to eject. 2 out of 10? Wolf was the worse but in my .22 rifle w same can, Wolf had great accuracy.
the CCI standard was good for accuracy, so I stopped there. more here-
http://www.marvelprecision.com/target.php The folks at Marvel have alot of info
on ammo they test & use.

Re: Silencerco Sparrow + Marvel .22 + Sig 1911extreme

esp. on the last round, when the slide locks up, its so quiet.
Not trying to boast, just share some pix w fellow shooters...
there is a varmint I am going to clean very soon.

yes, locks up last round. think that's new for Marvel. 22 conv kit comes with a test target think mine is .800" 5 rounds @ 50 yds. ? I'll never be able to do that, but nice to know it can. threaded for can by Marvel.
