Can you give me some insight on your experience using the Omega in direct mount mode and with the ASR/muzzle break mount setup. In my case i'll be using it on a Mega Arms Maten but info on bolt guns would also be helpful. Bought the Can yesterday and waiting on the Form 3 to clear so I can go in and get the form 4 done.

The asr mount works well. I have not seen any accuracy issues using it. I put brakes on all my guns, swap from all my bolt and semi auto guns. It adds a little weight, but overall the ability to swap between platforms is sweet.

Awesome glad to hear it! man I cant wait. Gonna use the 200 rebate to buy a 556 endcap and another asr muzzle device.

I use the omega on both my mega maten 308 and my 6.5 CM bolt gun. from a repeatability standpoint, I've found no difference between direct thread and the ASR. just depends on what you prefer.

I use it on my bolt gun as a direct thread with minimal POI shift, however, I have to check it every once in while to make sure it is still secured. I also use it on my ARs (large and small platform) with the ASR muzzle brake and never have any issues with it ever loosening. It is an awesome can and have no regrets purchasing it over... say the Saker. I also own an Osprey which is a pretty good pistol silencer too.

I have the Omega and use it with the ASR mount + muzzle brake. There's a slight POI shift with the suppressor on, but it's repeatable.

I switch it between a few rifles. It's a great suppressor! I just submitted my Form 4 for a Hybrid can - hunkering down for (long) the wait!

The hybrid is my next can for my 45-70 lever action I hunt with.

Ive always used my omega with the asr mount. I havemt taken the time to check poi shifts between the different mounts or with and without the supressor but shoots inside a dime with my 6.5 creed at 100 with the brake and asr mount.

POI shift doesn't bother me but the good accuracy is great news. Sound like the people saying the ASR mount isn't as accurate are in the minority

I don't think accuracy is a concern, the only issue I've seen is people not knowing hot to attach the can and shooting it off the rifle. I got direct thread on my Saker asr to save length and weight, you could always throw a Dead Air keymo on it as well to use their mounts.

I haven't shot mine with just the direct thread, but I have no problems transporting to my rifle to the range, attaching the ASR mount and shooting a rifle match with my 260. The shift that I get has been completely consistent and I have had no issues.
