Wow. I thought that I was an OK shooter. That is, of course, till I took my little piece of paper out to 100 yards. Never done this before, thought I would make a quick copy and shoot it for a warm-up. Boy was I surprised at what I learned.
What I learned:
#1 Basic marksmanship principles NEED TO BE ADHERED TO STRICTLY.
#2 GET BEHIND THE RIFLE
#3 Shooting a 1" group in gusty winds is tougher than you think
#4 If you think that you are rushing a shot, and your life is NOT ON THE LINE, STOP and restart your basic marksmanship principles
#5 Follow through is important, as is natural point of aim
I am schooled by little dots on paper. Humbled, well, yeah...ya think?
On a positive note, once I remembered these principles I nailed the targets. I really nailed the CBS, so I am happy with that.
