I just walked out of the store with the wrong primers for my 260rem.I got CCI small rifle primers instead of CCI large rifle primers -I should know this but I dont ! Can I use these still and get a good result with combustion in the 250 round 44.1gr 2209 adi powder ? Id go back but the stores closes for a few days and I wanna go bang

Sure they will. They just won't STAY in a large rifle primer pocket.

I have some great fears about that. Rumors I've heard are that NZ gunshops tend to be operated by some of the biggest buttwads in the world of shooting stuff.

Please let us know how it goes, and whether your local funshop dealer treats customers like a royal pain in the arse.

I returned them unopened and without hinderence.I cant imagine a hunting or shooting shop being anything other than helpful in this situation as Long as they know your an upstanding person who can also prove you purchased components from them .Most of our shops are based around hunting and have pretty decent guys running them -I have met the occasional person with a attitude but generally the gun comunity on a whole including the shops are upstaning folks who want to help -to be truthful I think the general attitude of NZ people is open and helpful -as far as buttwads go you might be refering to all of our politicians and media people -now theyre ass holes
