This is a likey stupid question but here goes.

Does anyone have recommendations for a small stapler that's effective in putting up targets even on a thick backing?

I'm trying to make my kit small and light, and would prefer not to drag around a larger heavy duty stapler.

Thanks

I use the standard Arrow. Worker’s at my work keep breaking them though, so we bought this black dewalt one Friday. Haven’t opened it yet, it it’s much lighter. Same size as the arrow, but it helps you out in the weight department

Thumb tacks. I carry a few dozen in a small aspirin bottle and never have to forget to refill the staples.

I carry a small all metal stapler in my range bag.

Kinda looks like this.

Any stapler usa will prob just work fine. A trip to your local box or hardware store would prob have your best answer.

Obviously an actual gun style would be more favorable over the average slap tacker.

I will commission and build an ultralight titanium compact tacticool stapler in multiple color options. PVD black or the latest and coolest cerakote colors end user options available.
Who's in it to win it for a $1000 staple gun ?
First 100 buyers get a free kydex ambidextrous quick draw holster so you will be first on the line sending staples down range. ??

A local indoor range recently got some DeWalt carbon fiber staplers in. Don't care about Home Depot, just the stapler.

I think I'm in love. It's like the Lamborghini of staplers. It will be mine!

It even has the visible carbon fiber pattern!!!

I use this stapler. MUCH lighter and less than half the size of the big metal ones you usually see at the range:

I see that's a 2-pack. Probably don't need two of them, unless you've got a range buddy who wants one, too. :)

It's also available at Lowe's (as a single unit) for $14.

The carbon fiber pattern is a lie!

Found one of these in the local Home Depot. The pattern is actually molded into the surface. So it looks to basically be a mix of fiber and epoxy which is then molded. I'm guessing that's why they use the term "Carbon Fiber Composite". That's minus 100 cool points.

It was still light and I'm guessing that the construction is still probably stronger than plastic so I picked it up.
