Santa Margarita is hosting the 2013 SMGC Camp Pendleton Open in just a few short days. This is a great chance to shot with, and mingle with some of the best shooters and get info on how to excel in shooting at your best. Plus its a LOT OF FUN!!!
2013 SMGC Camp Pendleton Open
The match program for the Camp Pendleton Open has been posted on the Match Forms page in both PDF and Word/docx.
The Santa Margarita Gun Club Camp Pendleton Open is a two-day event on September 28 and 29, 2013.
The CPO will include several events:
•September 28 (Sat) – NRA Regional 1000 Point Across the Course Aggregate
•September 29 (Sun) – NRA Regional 500 Point National Match Course (NMC) Aggregate
•September 28 (Sat) & 29 (Sun) – NRA Regional 1500 Point Across the Course Aggregate, comprised of: ◦NRA Regional 1000 Point
◦500 Point (NMC) – No Sighters
•September 29 (Sun) – Excellence–in-Competition EIC (Leg) Pistol Match
•September 29 (Sun) – Excellence–in-Competition EIC (Leg) Rifle Match Fired Con-Currently with the NMC Rifle Match
•September 29 (Sun) – Garand / Springfield / Vintage Military (GSM) Rifle Match
Santa Margarita Gun club will hold many various matches September 28/29 at the fantastic Wilcox Range at Camp Pendleton.
Pit duty is required...please watch this video on how to pull and score a target.

Acceptable calibers are anything up to 30-06. No muzzle brakes. Most shooters use a service or match rifle, such as an AR15, Tubb or Elisio gun (match rifle), AR10, M1a, M1, 1903, etc. Great calibers are 223, 308, 6.5, 243, 22-250, 6BR, etc.
Please bring a LOT of water and a mat.
