Competent and gunsmith don't go together like peas and carrots anymore. You would not believe the shit I have seen from so-called gunsmiths. There is an online certification these days...hmmmm. Even some of the old school tried and true smiths don't understand the importance of threading the barrel concentric to the bore. I have been there...baffle strike...done that. Trust someone who does these types of things all of the time.
NUTT, in the Houston area, I like Chris @ Aquila Firearms. He is about as good as they come. I have never heard anything negative about ADCO.
