Anyone know if any gunsmith would contour or re-contour a barrel. I have a hawk hill straight taper comp contour. Due to the diameter, I can’t use my nv bridge on my krg x-ray.

If it's been chambered already, there's not many who will. It can be done without ill effect but it can have an effect on accuracy, which is why so many won't do it. Like fluting a barrel ect... If it's a blank then there's many who can do it for you.

@bohem with PVA will do it I believe?
Yep, we can do it. We can work with a barrel that's already been chambered and typically don't need to touch the crown either but that last part comes with a caveat that we have tooling to support the nose without touching the bore.

Typically it's in/out less than a week. We have two centers dedicated to turning contours now.

Keystone accuracy. He did one for me a couple years back and the turnaround d time was really fast
Last I heard, John had suspended operations while he dealt with some family related business. My information may be out of date.
Correcting my statement from earlier, it sounds like John is back taking work.

Get with Josh above. PVA does great work and he is right over in PA so shipping won't be bad either.
