Re: Sniper Pistol
SR,
I really like it!
Krieger 1-8 Twist, BAT Action, Jewell trigger, McRee handgun chassis.
6.5 Leopard (6.5WSM) 71.0 grains H-1000, 130 Berger, Fed Match primer, MV = 3095 fps.
NF NXS 8-32 with the NP-DD reticle. I use Norma 270 WSM brass.
I have not found a negative with it yet. I shot one muley and two antelope with it this past season, and absolutely loved the way the 130 Berger performed-DRT!

Elk @ 666 yards with a 7mm Dakota XP
Mule deer during the 2010 season at 597 yards. Built by Mac's Gunworks (6.5 WSM)
Antelope at 1037 yards (7mm WSM XP using 162 A-Max)

Ernie, how do you like the 6.5 WSM? That cartridge looks like it would be so sweet. I love the WSM's and I bet the 6.5 would be a jewell.. Have you seen any drawbacks with it?
What the data/specs on your load? powder? grains? bullet weights
