There was a bona-fide 'special' member on another forum that used his handicap card for sympathy and to be treated like everyone's retarded little brother. I don't believe he even owned a gun and it was a major gun forum.
His failed attempts to date stories were a hoot when he talked about meeting some girl online and doing a FTF at a mall...with his father who drove him there standing a short distance away. People tried to give him advise on how not to come across as a special needs person.
He got too comfortable with his protected status, got out of his handicap lane and began picking fights and jumping in on dogpiles. When someone snapped back he was quick to remind them they were picking on a mentally handicapped person.
Then he'd post "I'd like to apologize" threads for his comments and at first got the usual, "It takes a big man to apologize" responses until he kept doing it and people realized he was playing them for more cheap sympathy and turned on him. He ended up flaming out, calling everyone 'cunt licks'. He caught a perma-ban but the term 'cunt-lick' remained in use in his memory.

and hey, it's the slow time of year and cold outside.....and in all honesty i find it quite entertaining. it takes so little to get him to short circuit. honest to heaven, i wasn't even trying at first. dude just went sideways during a normal conversation.
