I’ve never owned one. My understanding is that they are tough. I’ve heard some aren’t crazy about the glass. Others seem to like it.
I’m looking for a workhorse scope for my TRG22. I’ve has some good recommendations and I’m leaning towards the Bushnell Elite 3-12x44 LRHS. But there’s no a lot of difference in 10x vs 12x for my 50 year old eyes.
What I am interested in is optical clarity (define that however you like) but to me it means a clear, crisp, bright image from edge to edge. Also high on the list is toughness with precise, repeatable adjustments. Warranty is important too.
I’m a bit old school in that I done mind fixed power scopes. I have grown to like illuminated reticles though lol.
Both are in my price range of $1k. I’d be interested in hearing about others as well.
